What Size Arrows For 27.5 Inch Draw

1. What's your draw length and how long is your arrow? With my new bow it has a max draw length of 27.5 which is a little short for me and I'm trying to decide how short I should get my arrows cut.

3. Start out with a bow with the proper draw length for you, don't try to compensate for an ill-fitting bow. jmo

4. shoot a 29" draw with 31" arrows. When shooting mechs I can get away with shorter but sometimes I shoot Slicks and G5 Strikers w/ a bit of a back edge that makes the extra inch much safer.

   29 inch draw. My quiver looks like the lost and found bin at the archery range. I have arrows ranging from 29.5 down to 28. They all shoot the same for me even though dynamic spine and weight will vary slightly across the selection. I had to turn my draw weight down to about 65 pounds for spine range to match up with the variation.

   However, when I build arrows for the hunting quiver, they will be a matching set. 28 inches of carbon, then add nock and insert for a total length of about 28.5 depending on the measurements of the components that I end up using.

7. 29" draw length and 27.5" arrow length. I like them a good inch past the arrow rest.

   I trim my arrows to control spine. So if they get to short I move up spine. (Walkback tuning) seems more important with carbons

9. My arrows are 1" longer then the distance to the arrow rest. So my draw length is 27" and my arrows are 28".

10. I cut my arrows about 1" in front of the riser.

    My draw is 26.5, arrows with broad head and nock measure 27 3/4".
